Spring What?

The kids were on Spring Break last week. This is fun for them and sometimes fun for me. :-) As long as they are entertained it is good, otherwise they tend to find things to do that get them in trouble.
As luck would have it, we did have tons to do. We took a trip to Williamsburg to check out the sites and go to Busch Gardens. We had a great time. The place we stayed in had a full size hot tub on the back porch. The kids were in heaven! They stayed in there every evening. I think they would have been happy to do that all week long. But we dragged them through the history of Virginia.
This is a good picture of how they felt about being taken to the historical sites instead of being allowed to run free or hot tub it all day.
Here they are "free" at last to run fast and far. It did expend a bit of energy that helped us out the rest of the day.
Drew was content to find rocks and toss them into the sewer grates. "Wishing Wells" as he liked to call them. At least these "wells" took rocks and not money.

The Yorktown visit had a ship. They were so happy to run through it and play. Here is a shot of them hanging out the windows, which I believe should be port holes, never the less, they found the "holes".

NOTE: Mary decided she is now above such poses for pictures.
